# Privacy Policy for Mobile API Tester

Neelakandan ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Mobile API Tester application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service, including **optional cloud synchronization features** and **in-app purchases**, and the choices you have associated with that data.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is drafted to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

## 1. Information Collection and Use

**We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) from you by default.**

The Mobile API Tester application is designed primarily as a local, offline-first developer tool. However, we offer optional cloud features to enhance your experience.

### User-Generated Data (Local)
By default, all data you create or input within the app—including API requests (URLs, headers, bodies), responses, collections, and environment variables—is stored **exclusively on your device's local storage**. This data is private, never uploaded to our servers, and remains under your control.

### Cloud Synchronization (Optional)
We provide an optional "Cloud Sync" feature that allows you to synchronize your collections and environments across multiple devices (e.g., Android and Windows).

*   **Opt-In:** This feature is strictly optional. You must explicitly sign in to enable it.
*   **Account Information:** To facilitate this service, you may authenticate using a third-party provider (e.g., Google Sign-In). We only store your unique User ID and email address for authentication and sync purposes.
*   **Synced Data:** If enabled, your Collections, Environments, and Requests are securely stored in our encrypted cloud infrastructure to enable cross-device access.
*   **Control:** You retain full ownership of your data and can modify or delete your synced data or account at any time.

### Permissions

The application requests the following permissions on your device:

*   **Full Network Access (`android.permission.INTERNET`):** This permission is strictly used to:
    1.  Perform the core functionality of the app: sending HTTP/HTTPS requests to the API endpoints *you* specify.
    2.  Facilitate Cloud Sync (only if you have enabled it).
    We do not monitor, log, or track the content of your API testing requests.
*   **Google Play Billing Service (`com.android.vending.BILLING`):** Used to facilitate in-app purchases and subscriptions.

## 2. In-App Purchases and Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

**We will not store or collect your payment card details.** That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

When you make a purchase, we only receive a confirmation of the transaction from Google Play to unlock the purchased features or subscription content. We do not have access to your credit card information or billing address.

### Local Storage (Default)
By default, Mobile API Tester operates offline. All your data is stored locally on your device using secure, industry-standard database technologies. This data remains private to your device.

### Cloud Storage (Optional)
If you choose to use Cloud Sync:
*   Your data is transmitted over a secure, encrypted SSL/TLS connection.
*   It is stored in a secure cloud database protected by authentication and entry-level security rules. This ensures that **only you** can access your own data.
*   We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

## 4. Third-Party Services

**Zero Tracking Policy:**
*   We **do not** use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics).
*   We **do not** use third-party advertising services or ad networks.
*   We **do not** track your usage behavior inside the application.

**Authentication Services:**

## 5. Children's Privacy

Our Service is a developer tool intended for use by software professionals and enthusiasts. It is **not** directed to anyone under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

## 6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
