Neelakandan ("we," "us," or "our") operates the API Tester mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you. The API Tester application is designed to be a local, offline-first tool.

  • User-Generated Data: All data you create within the app, including API requests (URLs, headers, bodies), responses, and collections, is stored exclusively on your device's local storage. This data is not transmitted to us or any third party and is under your control. You can manage and delete this data at any time from within the application.

  • Internet Permission: The application requests Internet permission (android.permission.INTERNET). This permission is used solely to allow the application to send HTTP requests to the API endpoints that you specify. We do not monitor, log, or store any information about the requests you make.

2. Data Storage

All of your data, including your API request history and created collections, is stored locally on your device using the Hive database. This data is not uploaded to any external server and remains private to your device. The security of this locally stored data is dependent on the security of your mobile device's operating system.

3. Third-Party Services

The API Tester application does not use any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The application's core functionality relies on the following packages which do not collect personal data for our use:

  • Dio: For making the HTTP requests you define.

  • Hive CE Flutter: For local database storage on your device.

4. Children's Privacy

Our Service is a developer tool and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application or on our app store listing.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
